My photography journey began in 2020, when I co-founded Better Together Moments Weddings and Events with my best friends and husband. Together, we captured countless weddings, milestones, and sessions. Memories I’ll always be so proud of. Recently, we decided to branch out individually to focus on what inspires us most creatively, and that’s how BtCreativeCo. was born.
Truthfully though, photography has always been part of who I am. From the time I was a kid, I carried a digital camera everywhere, snapping photos of my friends at every gathering, no matter how small. I loved preserving them so everyone could look back and relive the memories. In 8th grade, I got my first DSLR and started experimenting and photographing my sisters, nature, really anything I could. I didn’t know what I was doing back then, but the love for capturing memories has always been there.
my style:
I work in both natural light and studio photography, focusing on natural connections and candid moments. While I love capturing unposed, in-the-moment shots, I also gently guide with light posing to create those classic images you’ll want to frame and keep forever. My goal is to create timeless images with colors that feel natural and genuine, photos you can look back on for years to come and still love.
Outside of photography, I’ve always been drawn to creative work. After graduating high school in 2015, I went to beauty school, chasing a passion I had for doing hair. After school, I'd spend countless hours watching YouTube videos, learning anything and everything I could. My husband even turned a section of my childhood bedroom into a mini salon, where I’d do hair for anyone who would let me, friends, family, neighbors. After finishing cosmetology school, I jumped right into booth renting, it was scary, but it taught me that growth happens when you step into the uncomfortable and take risks. Looking back, I believe that decision is truly what gave me the freedom and confidence to keep pushing myself creatively.
Over time, I opened my own salon, Salon BT, in 2022. I’ve dabbled in other ventures too from custom signs and décor, to social media brand work, and even co-owning new businesses, like Vision 4 Properties and a wedding and event venue, Crescent Acres. Some of those were short-lived, others continue to grow, but each one has shaped who I am as a creator and entrepreneur.
Beyond my businesses and creative work, my greatest joy is my family. My husband Brad and I have been together since 2011, and have been married since 2019 and quite literally have grown up together. We've. built our dreams together and he's my biggest supporter in everything I do. In 2023, our lives were forever changed when we became parents to spontaneous identical twin girls, Bayden and Blayne. Becoming their mom is hands down my favorite "job" of all. They’ve taught me to slow down, savor the little things and to see the world differently. They’re also my biggest reminder of why I fell in love with photography in the first place because time moves fast, but photos let us hold onto the moments that matter most.
Breanne Tomolonis Creative Co. is more than just a photography brand, it was created to hold all the pieces of my creativity. Photography at its core, but open to wherever inspiration takes me. It's my place to document, design, dream and to create work that feels honest, connected and meaningful in every season.
